On UNFPA's Youth Progressive Platform with AFRIYAN, I researched and wrote the reports, proposals and advocacy that carried young people's priorities to partners, including the voices of women and girls in camps for displaced people.

The Youth Progressive Platform (YPP) is a UNFPA-supported space, run with AFRIYAN, where young people shape the programmes and policies that affect them. From April 2024 to July 2025 I was its Writer and Rapporteur.
I researched and wrote reports, proposals, articles, briefs and advocacy materials on youth empowerment, participation and development. My job was to turn programme activities, discussions and youth priorities into clear writing that partners and stakeholders could act on. As rapporteur for meetings, workshops, consultations and youth events, I captured the key discussions, recommendations, decisions and action points accurately.
I kept the platform's knowledge in order, with organised records, meeting reports and data trackers, so information was easy to find and work carried on smoothly. I gathered inputs from the team and partners to deliver reports on time, built presentations and communication materials in Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Figma, and managed the inventory of programme materials so resources were documented, distributed and tracked.
One of the moments I'm proudest of is “Voices of IDPs”, which shared significant change stories from the Wassa camp for internally displaced people with the Stand With A Girl (SWAG) Initiative, and amplified the voices of women and girls living in camp communities.
